“Forgotten Hollywood”- Latino Book & Family Festival is Here!
Manny P. here…
This weekend is around the corner and the 13th annual Latino Book & Family Festival is set to begin on the campus of Cal State Los Angeles. We can expect over 120 award-winning authors, book readings, children’s activities, Ballet Folklorico, a variety of vendors (including a health-screening booth), traditional food, and over 50 panels. In fact, I’ll be involved with two informative discussions.
The festivities will take place each day from 11a-6p. Saturday highlights include expected visits by L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and former U.S. Congressman Esteban Torres; and Dinner With The Authors with special guests: Maria Conchita Alonso and Erik Estrada.

The largest gathering of Latino scribes ever assembled guarantees a special time for all visitors. I’ll be signing copies of my book Forgotten Hollywood Forgotten History, both days of this important event.
Here’s a couple of links to the Latino Book Fest website that includes well-deserved publicity and a friendly welcome by actor and co-founder Edward James Olmos.
