About – Beware of the Blog
Siblings Manny Pacheco and Virginia Vandewouwer have collaborated to chronicle Hollywood pop culture during the first two decades of the twentieth century. With over twenty-two hundred blogs written by Manny over a twelve-year period through 2020, Virginia was able to pick out one-hundred and twenty-five stories that best represent the writer’s perspective as a Hollywood historian. Presented here and resembling diaries written centuries before, “Beware of the Blog” captures and document precious time-capsule moments of our fun cultural recent history; many easily forgotten in emails and tweets.
“Forgotten Hollywood” is a franchise that includes a series of three award-winning books, a podcast on Spotify, a documentary in production, and an award-winning blog at www.forgottenhollywood.com. The website received a third-place award at the 2012 Los Angeles Press Club – 5th Annual Entertainment Journalism Awards in the Best Blog category.
