Since 1926, Proctors, a beautifully restored historic theatre, has presented the very best in entertainment for New York’s Capital Region. During the 1930s and 40s ~ the Golden Age of Hollywood ~ Proctors flourished. First-run motion pictures like King Kong, The Wizard of Oz, and Gone With the Wind drew crowds numbering in the thousands. In 1980, Proctors was named to the National Register of Historic Places.
This is one film festival that should be taken on an Nationwide tour!
Until next time> “never forget”
